Learning Choices at 16 plus

The law has changed and all young people must stay in education or training until the end of the school year in which they turn 17.
From 2015 this will go up to at least 18.
Raising the Participation Age to 18 doesn't mean young people will have to stay in school though. They will be able to choose one of the following options available to them:

Full time education
School, college or Alternative Provision

Work based learning
Apprenticeship or training

Part time Training
Alongside working or volunteering for more than 20 hours per week
