Orchard Hill

A non-residential educational provision service for young people with disabilities. The college has strong links with local providers such as Further Education colleges, disability organisations and supported employment to facilitate integration and widen opportunities for disabled young people.

Courses on offer:

Building skills for Independence:

This three year programme is designed for school leavers and young adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities who need a significant level of support within a college environment.

Traineeship:

The Traineeship course is for students aged 19-24 who want to develop work-ready skills and gain accredited qualifications. Students will develop their basic skills, transferable work skills and learn specific skills related to vocational areas and undertake a work placement.

Into Work:

This course is for students who are interested in participating in specific work/supported work/enterprise projects and increasing their employability skills.

Supported Internship:

This one year course is for students aged 16-19 who want to develop work-ready skills and gain accredited qualifications including English and maths. Students will develop their basic skills, work skills and learn specific skills related to vocational areas and undertake a work placement.
