The Service:

Fast Forward is a youth project for young people with Special Educational Needs. We run various activities on Monday and Wednesday evenings such as arts and crafts, healthy living, healthy lifestyle, cooking sessions, life skills and trips. Fast Forward provides a place for young people to come together to socialise with their peers, as well as develop their social skills and promote independence

Who is the service for?

Fast Forward is a special education needs youth project for young people aged 11-25 with mild to moderate learning difficulties, autism, speech/hearing/visual impediments.

Criteria for access to service

Young people must be aged 11-25 with additional needs.

The club runs on specific days and at set times

How this is provided:

  • We are based at Central Venture Park, Kelly Avenue, Peckham, SE15 5LW
  • We run on a group on Monday and Wednesday between 6.00-8.00pm
  • It is a mixed group for young people 11-25 across Southwark.
  • We currently have access to a mini bus service for those who have limited access to transport. This is subject to an assessment process and need.  

How can I access this service?

Parents, carers, guardian, young person or professionals can call or alternatively or pop down on Monday or Wednesday between 6 or 7pm to speak to the workers, fill in a registration form and join in at the next session 

We aim to get back to you within 5 working days if a query is made via email.

How is this service funded?

The service is funded by Southwark Council 

Do you need to pay for this service?

It is a free service. Young people are asked to bring in their own snacks to club. There are charges for off site trips.
