Breastfeeding Support Group
Breastfeeding Support Drop ins provide a safe and comfortable environment where pregnant and breastfeeding women and people are supported to start and continue breastfeeding.
All pregnant women and breastfeeding people are welcome, and a referral is not required.
The sessions are run as drop ins, meaning you do not need an appointment, by the Health Visiting team in Southwark on the following days/ locations:
- Mondays 12pm - 2pm at 1st Place Children and Parent’s Centre
- Tuesdays 10am -12pm at Crawford Primary School and Children’s Centre
- Thursdays 10am - 12pm at Southwark Park Playroom
- Fridays 12pm - 2pm at Rye Oak Children’s and Family Centre
*Please aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before the end of the session if you require breastfeeding support.
If you require more targeted support you can receive specialist support by referral from your health visitor or midwife on the following days/ locations by appointment only:
- Mondays 12-3pm at Tessa Jowell Health Centre
- Wednesdays 10am-12pm at Aylesbury Health Centre
