Infant Preventive Dental Scheme
The IPDS is a unique scheme run by the Department of Community Special Care Dentistry.
The aim of the scheme is to prevent dental disease and the subsequent need for dental treatment, often complicated due to medical and behavioural problems.
Age:
Children under 5 years old
IPDS Offers:
- Home visits providing informal advice tailored to each family’s needs with the aim of preventing problems
- Referrals for treatment and ongoing care
