Criteria for access to service
This is a universal service there are no criteria. We provide for all areas of need and levels of need.
Accessibility of this service
Office hours 9-4 most days, clients can contact by phone, email, social media or drop ins. Provide support with benefits claims, criminal justice, housing, accessing education, accessing healthcare, and any other service. Act at liaison between client and council services.
How this is provided:
- Phone advice 5 days per week
- Contact through social media
- Drop in option
- Site visits every 3 months with Advising Communities

How is this service funded?
Southwark Council and Irish Government Emigrant Support Fund
Do you need to pay for this service?
This service is provided free of charge.
Confidentiality and Impartiality
The service is confidential and you will be asked for permission for us to speak with professionals on your behalf. This service is at arms length to the council meaning that the advice we provide is completely impartial. We have a duty to report safeguarding issues if we feel the client or someone else is in immediate risk. This will generally be discussed with the client beforehand.

We are generally quite busy so if you need help it is best to ring and make an appointment to make sure we can deal with the issue effectively.
