The Camden Society After-School Club Service
This service is for young people with special Educational needs or Disability aged 12- 25 who live in southwark. The criteria to access this services is:
- Autism Spectrum Conditions
- Learning Disabilities
- Additional and complex health needs
- Those with challenging behaviour who may find it difficult to access other scheme
The building is fully accessible, with changing facilities. Staff are experienced at using Makaton, and have had a variety of training to make the service accessible to all. We are able to offer transport when assessed as needed.
What is offered?
An opportunity to socialise, to experience new things, to build on existing skills or simply have fun! We offer a range of activities that are planned on a 6-weekly basis with full input from all of the young people. We encourage healthy eating/cooking skills, participation in discussion groups, and regularly access community facilities. Past activities have included music sessions, bowling, cinema, travel training, BBQs, cook and eat sessions, cultural trips to museums, outdoor photography, sensory play, karaoke, and trips to the seaside.
