The Youth Offer provides information advice and support to young people aged 16-25 on key areas, including:

  • Education - for details of Further-Education options
  • Staying Safe - for information to help maintain physical and emotional safety

Resources for Autism is offering free in-person Life Skills workshops designed to help you grow, connect, and thrive. Join us to gain tools, knowledge, and strategies for daily life.

Understanding, making and maintaining friendships -  23rd January & 20th February 2025

Topics that will be discussed during this 2 hr fun  workshop will include:

  • What friendships might look like
  • Tips for making friends
  • Maintaining friendships
  • What boundaries are and different types
  • Relationship circles (plus optional activity)
  • Friendship red flags (plus activity)
  • My strengths and things I might find challenging (activity)

Self-Care Skills workshop  - 30th January 2025

This is your chance to gain new skills in a supportive, autism friendly welcoming environment.

  • Discover yourself and build your personal self-care toolkit.
  • Learn strategies to manage mental well-being.
  • Tips to incorporate daily mindfulness into your schedule.
  • Set and achieve strategies on managing personal goals.

  • What happens if we do not pay the bills and how does that affect us? 
  • Debts – how can we sort them out? 
  • What are debts? 
  • How do people get into debt and how to get out of them. 
  • Going to court with a debt – what happens? 
  • Working out a budget – devise sample budget with group members 
  • Getting support from debt management organisations 
  • Understand your personal budget and finances 
  • Developing skills on managing your weekly / monthly finances 
  • Learn budgeting basics
