There are two Job Centres located in Southwark , advisors are available to help you find employment based on your circumstances, current employment status and any benefits or allowances you might be receiving. You can also receive help with applying for any benefits you might be entitled to after the age of 18 or 25. In Southwark, Job Centres can be found in London Bridge and Peckham, in some cases you may have to make an appointment before meeting with an advisor.

Disability Employment Adviser (DEA) at your local Job Centre can help you find a job or gain new skills and tell you about disability friendly employers in your area.

They can also refer you to a specialist work psychologist, if appropriate, or carry out an ‘employment assessment’, asking you about:

• your skills and experience
• what kind of roles you’re interested in
