Deciding to leave home and live independently is a big decision.
Although you'll have more freedom, you'll also have new responsibilities that you may not have had to deal with before.

Leaving your parents home at a young age, especially if you have nowhere to go, should be the very last option that you consider.

If you do feel ready to move out then the best way to do so is after careful thought and planning. Find out what your options are and ask for advice.

You might not be entitled to a council home and would then have to find a deposit and rent in advance for a home in the private sector.
