The Service

Curriculum – We offer a broad and balanced curriculum for all students, including accredited courses such as GCSEs (based on assessment criteria) Level 1 & 2 courses and Entry Level courses.
Our classes are small (max 5 students per year group), this is to ensure that individual needs are met.

Pastoral – We have a strong pastoral team, which includes a counsellor to promote student’s well-being and an Educational Psychologist to assess students learning needs and help promote positive learning behaviour.

Personal – We strongly believe in encouraging individual creativity, so we aim to support all students in finding their interests/passions and working towards a goal to achieve their aspirations.

Work-related learning – We offer KS4 students the opportunity of work-experience placements on a weekly basis so that they are developing and improving their employability skills

Who is the service for?

We offer placements to students aged 11-16 with or without an Education Health & Care Plan, who are at risk of permanent exclusion, who are school refusers and with poor attendance, generally finding it difficult to cope within a mainstream setting and need a smaller therapeutic environment.
