Pre and Post-16 Provision
We are The Complete Works - South London School, a creative and nurturing Alternative Provision, part of The Complete Works family of schools, rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2025. Since 1999, we have refined a truly personalised approach to learning. We design bespoke education programmes for every student, choosing from a combination of vocational and academic classes at our Learning Hubs; one to one lessons taught in the community; and holistic wellbeing support, including counselling and personal development sessions. This gives us the flexibility to engage and inspire a broad variety of young people, helping them discover their aspirations, and find a home in our diverse and thriving school community.
How the Service is Provided
We work with students from KS1-5, and have the expertise and experience to meet a variety of educational needs. Our curriculum includes a wide range of courses to suit every individual and as we are an exam centre, all students have the opportunity to gain qualifications and sit exams through us. These include GCSEs, BTECs, Functional Skills, Arts Award and Entry Level Certificates.
Whatever route they take, our students enjoy a dynamic and rewarding learning experience, where their individuality is celebrated and creativity is at the core of every lesson.
How to access the service
Referrals come through the local authority, or through schools. Please have a look at TCW website and if you feel we may be suitable for your child, you can talk to the relevant team in Southwark or your child's school about your reasons for wanting a referral. The relevant Southwark teams are the SEN team for students with an EHCP and Alternative Provision Team for all other students.
We do not accept referrals directly from parents or carers.
