Ofsted and CQC - Southwark Children Not in School Inspection
Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) are visiting Southwark to understand the work that the Council and its partners do to support children who are not in school or are severely absent from school.
It’s important that the visiting team get to hear from parents/carers and from children and young people about their experiences. This includes any support they have received. We invite you to share your views using the surveys below:
The first survey is for children and young people to complete themselves – you can access that survey by clicking here - Children and Young People's Survey. This survey is for 11-16 year olds, who have experienced being out of school for any reason, or who have not attended school full time. Its okay to help your children to complete this survey, if they need any support to share their views.
The second survey is for parents and carers yourselves – you can access that survey by clicking here - Parent/Carer Survey. This survey is for parents and carers of children 5-16 years old, with SEND (special educational needs and/or a disability) who has experienced their child not being in school, or not being in school full time.
We hope that parents/carers will take this chance to pass on their views.
