Are you the parent or carer of a child who is deaf or has a hearing impairment? Do you live in or around Lambeth?

Lambeth Deaf Children's Society launched monthly drop-in groups for deaf children and their families in January 2008.

We offer support, information and advice to parents, carers and other family members and have activities for deaf children and siblings in a positive and inclusive environment.

Our purpose and values are:

that if support is given and positive attitudes are fostered, the challenge of deafness can be a rewarding and enriching experience for the deaf children and their families;
that deaf children need to develop fluent language skills in order to understand and influence the world around them.
that British Sign Language (BSL) and English are of equal worth.
